topic BT disconnecting our business and losing our number in Phone line

We've had the same phone number in our hairdressing salon for over 30 years. BT insisted on moving the service to digital. That was on 7 February and since that date we've had no working phone line and BT are saying our number was lost. They giving us the runaround - fixing new dates for when the line would be working but we now think they just avoiding us as they know they are in the wrong. We are losing business every day as customers cant call the salon and BT showing no interest in fixing the problem they have created. Anyone know a good solicitor to use for this kind of dispute?
