Transfer numbers from Cloud Voice to Digital Business for business

So we currently have Cloud Voice and am contemplating switching to Digital Business for business as its cheaper.

Yet they cant port/transfer our number range (Site Number Range) across even though the website says you can, but the sales specialists say you cant do that as they are locked to Cloud Voice only and cant be moved across products, which seems insane as means as a business we'll have to change telephone numbers, surely there is a way around this???

In the number porting FAQ for Digital Voice for Business, it states you can not port numbers from Cloud Voice to Digital Voice for Business.
