I had a business acccount until 3 years ago. I need to retrieve emails from that ''old'' account for evidence in a Court case. Do BT archive emails? If so for how long? And if they are available how do I retrieve them. I have the email address that I was using with the BT account but no other info. Can anyone help? Many thanks

As long as:

• the email account is active,
• you haven't deleted messages from the 'Deleted Items' folder,
• made changes to the email account's retention policy,
• or downloaded your inbox to an email client program such as Outlook or MAC Mail, and removed the option 'leave a copy of message on server';

then your mail should still be accessible.
