I am having a terrible day dealing with BT Business. My company originally had a BT Residential Broadband service. After speaking with BT we were advised to move to BT Business as we would get better support and potentially a faster broadband service.
I spoke to this BT Business Sales man who promised me that we would have no drop in service. I made him say on the call, as it was recorded, "I promise that your service will not be interrupted". Guess what, broadband got cut off today. On contacting BT this morning they have advised me that it should be back by midnight tomorrow!
I am at a loss. I have spent 3 hours today trying to get this resolved and nobody at BT cares that 1. we have been missold. 2. that our service which we rely upon is down.
I spoke to a Sharak Azan (Supervisor) who promised me he would ring back by 12:00 today. No phone call. I have now raised two complaints - no response. When I ring BT I have to go through the entire process again of explaining what has happened. At one point they very helpfully put me through to the Sales Team to try and resolve my problem!
I am sorry, but this experience underlines everything what is wrong with BT - they do not care, they cannot respond and there is no accountability!!
