Transferring domain out of BT

Hello,

 

On Thursday I started the process to transfer a domain out of BT business to Namecheap. I got the EPP code through and authorised the transaction straight away. We're in a crucial stage with a company that'll be distributing our emails, therefore we were hoping to have the domain transferred as soon as possible so we could alter the nameserver records. All the MX records have been configured on the to-be-hosting server, all we need to do is update the nameservers.

 

We received an email from BT saying the process won't go ahead until Tuesday and the domain won't be released until then. Is there any way to contact BT to request an immediate release? We've authorised the transfer so in my honest opinion, it would only be too easy if BT were to actually transfer the domain. Is there a number I can get in touch with to finish the transfer ASAP?
