Unable to set up BT Business with Microsoft Office 365 Small Business

I recently purchased BT Business email with Microsoft Office 365 Small Business. When I try to create new profiles or download software it asks me for account details off my last BT bill. However as we are not due a bill for another 2 weeks, and no account number was in the initial welcome emails I'm presently stuck and unable to set up the services I bought.
I've tried various chat and phone support routes but all are stonewalling me saying they (and I) can't do anything until we get a first bill. By which time I'll have been paying for the service a month without being able to use it.
Is there any way out of this apparently endless loop please?

Hi citysleuth,
Once you order the Office 365 license you do not need any billing details to set it up. If you go to http://secure.business.bt.com and click on manage services, you will be able to login with the main primary username for your account normally an @btconnect.com email address to be able to create a user with the Office 365 license.
