can I use my Cisco 877w on BT Infinity

I Have recently been upgraded to BT Infinity through work.  I used to use a work provided cisco 877w but have now been connected up with the BT business Hub.

Am i able to take the BT Business hub out and carry on using the cisco 877?  The old connection was via a RJ11 connector but the new one has 2 boxes, 1 connected to the wall socket and then to the BT Business hub using RJ45.

Thanks

In theory you should be able to connect your Cisco to the Openreach modem via Ethernet to your WAN port and have it dial the session via PPPoE. Obviously any support is very limited.

Thanks, I'll give that a try and post the results.

Found this which is quite helpful:

Wondered if you got your 877w working?

Ive googled and tried to get a 887 model configured and had NO success.

Any help or additional links would be helpful....
