BT Business Hub 3 keeps dropping broadband connection

Hi,
My BT Business Hub 3 is just over a year old, for the past few days it has been dropping the broadband signal and flashing orange for a minute or so then reconnecting. I checked my openreach fibre modem (2B) and it shows connected. Any idea what I could do?

Hi thefurmanuk,

 

it does sound like a potential router issue, if you contact the helpdesk, they will be able to diagnose what the issue is, and if need be replace the router if it is still in warranty.

Check the system log for connection/disconnection info but this sounds like a BT infrastructure issue - that you are losing connectivity due to disruption to their upstream infrastructure. Could be a line fault if you have too much noise on line. (Or could be faulty router).
