Bills continue after account was closed 9 months ago

Now at the end my tether. After cancelling my BT Business Broadband account after a house move in March 2020 I have repeatedly received final bills for £40 despite having paid the remaining balance in March. Following each bill I call BT and always get the same response “sorry about that, the bill has been cancelled and the account is now closed” Seriously BT, how hard can it be to close an account?

Like I said I’m now at the end of my tether with this and I certainly don’t have time to keep dealing with this. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to invoice BT for my continued time on dealing with this? I now consider this to be a case of harassment and feel i need to be compensated for my time and stress...and of course need to find out our to get the problem resolved. Thanks. L.
