After switching from Demon to first BT Business standard service, and now BT Business Fibre Optic, whenever I try and update a website in either Wordpress or OpenCart, I regularly get an ERR_CONNECTION_RESET message which results in whatever is being updated at the time becoming corrupt on the database. Serious issue.
I have spent many hours trawling the internet for a possible solution, and the MTU setting seems favourite, but I have done all the Ping tests and adjusted the MTU setting, leaving all Macs to set the MTU Automatically, and leaving the MTU on the router as deafult, which just so happens to be the result of my Ping tests, so it should all be fine. Problem persists and only happens through work connection, nowhere else.
Live Chat help here pointed me to 0800 500 247 telling me it was a free service but it seems it is a paid for service helping PC users 😞
Any pointers?
