Guest Broadband

Hopefully someone will be able to advise me on the following issue:

Overview:

I am trying to setup a physical guest network, not a virtual one. The plan is to completely segregate guests from my private network. I don’t need to extend the existing private network. I am using two routers - Router A for the private subnet and Router B the guest subnet.

Router A = private network

Router B = guest network

Issue:

After configuration, clients connected to Router B can ping the WAN addresses of both the guest and private subnets. However, Router B cannot access the internet, which is available via Router A's WAN interface.

I believe this may be a limitation with the BT Home Hub 3 and have posted my conundrum here just in case I have missed something obvious. Please see the following diagram for further information.

Not sure if this will help you and be of benefit but take a look at http://www.teamwifi.co.uk.
I know their system is plug and play and separates guest traffic from your private network. You also get to collect guest data.
