Hi Guys

I have a microsever, with Windows 2012 in the office.

I have a BT HOmehub 5 business hub with BT business line.

I've added an RDP with port range 3389 on all boxes below:suhailhub.jpg

I also disabled the firewall on the microserver.

I am trying to RDP to the server by 11.111.11.11:3389 but it doesnt connect, I get below error

FYI I can ping the router's external IP address.

I'm trying to RDP to the server from my home laptop which i've also disabled the firewall locally on.

Any ideas would be truly greatful, I'm stuck!

Thanks

Roy

Hi krazyhorse

when you are testing the RDP to the server, are you on the same connection/external IP as the server?  As this will always fail.

You need to test it from a computer/device on a different external IP.
