Router Security

couver

I have had a 3rd party Netgear router for some time and recently noticed, when checking other routers in my area, that it is not protected as most others are. I am able to log into it for maintenance purposes. How do i apply security to prevent an unauthorised site using it and who supplies the service?

Hi,

Found using 'netgear wireless security' in Google:

http://support.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/112/~/secure-your-wireless-network%3A-wpa%2Fwpa2-...)

(Just for reference BT don't support Netgears, only the routers they supply)

Hope that helps.

Cheers.
