I work at home much of the work being on cloud based servers and web conferences so its critical my broadband service is reliable and consistent. I recently switched to infinity for extra speed from virgin media broadband which was fine but not on a business connection previsouly. Since I have had BT im noticing sudden drops in speed, these see to coincide with busy times in the holiday proprties around me, none of which have their own broadband. I am starting to suspect everyone is using the access to my router via the BT wifi service. Its an unusual situation here as its a mainly holiday homes (i am the only permanent resident in this road and the one behind). Could this be the casue of the drop? Saturdays from around 5pm are particuarly bad at the moment!
