Whole Sussex village still cut off by BT engineers

31/3/16. The village of Elsted in West sussex(GU29) survived the storm( Storm Katie 26th-27th 0f march) and all it threw at it  and despite the phone poles being blown over due the fact they were rotten( poor investment) the engineers decided to " Make safe" and cut off the village even though at that point the phones still worked!

This morning (31st) an Engineer "not helpful" is deciding what to do , business's and elderly and infirm have no phone sysytem to run there lives or hospital appointments by and business's no way of making bookings for lunches and dinners at the local pub.

Is is a priority ??? NO as far as BT are concerned they do not care if House bound invalids and Infirm elderly have no communication with the oputside world. BT have no interest that the Village pub have tried and tried to contact  Business Faults for days and have no way of taking credit card payments or informing prebooked customers a or taking further bookings.

OH for the day when the monopoloys commision sort out BT and sack those who have been on the gravy train of secure jobs all the time we are ripped off by poor service.

Sorry got to go and speak to some person again in a call centre in India ! Their phone service in India is far better and more reliable.

THIS IS A VILLAGE NOT ONE NUMBER< GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER BT< GET YOUR BACK SIDES OFF YOUR COMFY SEATS AND GET A MAN OUT ON THE GROUND TO LET PEOPLE KNOW WHAT  THE HELL IS HAPPENING

It is Openreach who provide and maintain the network on behalf of all service providers of which BT is just one.

The sort of damage you report takes time particularly if road closures are needed to replace the poles it will not have been forgotten but this type of infrastucture damage takes tim to repair
