Email accounts taking over 24 hours to create

The creation of new email accounts has never been good wiith BT. BtConnect was never very good but I am amazed to say that the change to Outlook is even worse.

 

In a week I have managed to create TWO accounts and a third is still 'In Progress' after 24 hours.

 

Creating/deleting and altering accounts is something that a business needs to do in a reasonable speed. The problem is that once you have started the creation process then you cannot start another.

 

I have just come off the Live Chat to be told that I should contact BT if my email account has not been created within 48 hours and they will see what they can do with Microsoft.

 

The creation of emails is clearly 'not fit for purpose' and needs a radical rethink if BT wants to keep customers.

 

We know how Microsoft work as we are Microsoft Partners. Their service is usually excellent and very responsive. We can have a major disaster and be speaking to a real person in minutes, they will then work in a proactive manner to resolve the issue.

 

Come on BT. Up your game.
