Setting up new email address

I'm trying to set up a couple of new email addresses but when they appear in the "Email Summary" they have "(Requires Activation)" next to them.  I click on the activate button and the following error message appears:  "The domain for this user appears to already be activated with Microsoft Office 365 possibly directly or through another reseller or partner. Please check if this domain is already used with Office 365. There may be a need to remove this domain from its current Office 365 account in order for it to be added to this account".  Please advise?

Did you ever resolve this? We have exactly the same problem!

I would advise to contact the helpdesk to get this resolved.
