Disappointed with Cloud Phone - Do your homework !

I have been a cloud phone user in a small business for just short of a year.

We have two incoming lines and rely on broadband for business transactions, we decided to go for cloud as it saved us money on a ISDN dual channel and a separate line for broadband.

The transition was smooth (apart from billing which has took 8 months to resolve), however the functionality in several basic aspects are poor and wish I was told about the problem or lack of certain key features.

The feature which are problematic have been around for years in ISDN and standard on mobile phones !

We have a large address book and it is always great to have a name pop up on the phone to see who is calling (no one can remember over 300 numbers), this then gives us the option to decide to answer or not or at least we can be prepared. Well with a cloud phone this is not possible unless you tirelessly program everything in using a telephone keypad which is not possible unless you have weeks to kill !! and then do the same on the other phone.

Its basic on all mobiles and ISDN systems that the caller display converts the number to a name if in the address book !!

The second item is that we have 10 line number that we use on promotions, website and for different business activities on the isdn it used to tell us what number were dialled (incoming) on the display so we could answer the phone appropriately. Not on the cloud phone !!  you get the option to display it but then it removes the incoming number ..

So have we got the wrong phones ? or is it just featureless ?

BT cloud suggested we use the PC app at the same but in the environment we are in we don’t have two computers next to two phones.

Any ideas?
