Call Diversion

Hi, for a period of a few months during this coming winter I wish to divert ALL incoming calls from one business line to another business landline.

 

 

- Is it possible to automatically divert all calls immediately/invisibly to the caller (i.e NO recorded message)

 

- What is the cost per month of doing this?

 

- How much notice is required to instigate this?

Sorry for the late post!

 

You can divert all your calls provided the landline (that is having the calls diverted from) is active.

 

I found this on the Call Diversion support page:

 

You can divert all of your incoming calls.

To divert your calls, dial *21*, followed by:

  • extension number #.
  • site location code and extension number #.
  • 9 telephone number #.

To check whether Call Diversion is set up, dial *#21#.

To cancel Call Diversion, dial #21#.

 

You need to order the service first, you can do so by logging in (or registering if you do not currently have an eBilling account) at www.bt.com/business/youraccount and it costs £6.00 per quarter plus line rental (and you pay for half of the call i.e. from your number to the number you have diverted your calls to).

 

Not sure if you can have it without a message though.
