Massive issues porting number from Virgin - URGENT

I have been tryong to port my number from Virgin to my new BT account since 24th July. I have spent a total of over 8.5 hours on the phone and raised 4 complaints about the misinformation I have been given. The number is both my residential and one I use for my home business it is vitally to the survival of my business but i cannot get BT to request the number from Virgin and the information I have been given since setting up my account has been incorrect. I now also have TV box I cannot use either and an account I am unable to log on due to incompetencies of BT.
