PPPoE username and password

Hi,

Yesterday I had FTTP installed - the VDSL connection will cease on Friday. When I placed the order, the agent had to create two separate orders for the above. I use my own router and obtained my PPPoE username and password a while back. With the migration to FTTP, will the PPPoE credentials stay the same, or will I need to obtain new credentials when the VDSL connection ceases?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

If the new service has been placed as a stand alone order for a connection then it will have it's own details assigned as it is a new service.

Thank you,

Hi Adam,

An update on this - seems like the PPPoE username/password stays the same. My FTTP connection is still working after the FTTC service was terminated.

Hi again,

I found out that a new Network user ID was created for my new FTTP service - I contacted technical support and they have given me the password. I have plugged these into my router for the PPPoE connection and the broadband connection is working fine.
