New contract, no phone line for over 6 weeks and counting

I’m at wits end.

i have no business phone number and have been trying for over 6 weeks.

im losing money.

I’ve spent days on the phone and probably spoke to every employee in the company who can only advise for me to wait 48hrs whilst they cancel and re order.

im being overcharged for a service I don’t have. Nobody calls me back when they say they do. I have umpteen complaints and still, I hit a brick wall with no contact from anyone.

What a bloody joke, British Telecom,  a company that built its reputation on providing telephone numbers, don’t have the ability or knowledge to give me a number. 
Anybody else being given the bums rush and losing thousands of pounds in revenue due to the incompetence of BT? Can anyone having this problem actually get to speak with someone who helped? If so, please let me know
