I have just received and email from :
Nigel Stagg
Managing Director
BT Business
Telling me that our latest BT bill is avalaible online. I followed the link and was taken to our Broadband account NOT the phone line account referenced in the email. I attempted to add our phone line account to our company account and was told that this was regisetered on a OneBill Plus acount. Searched for OneBill Plus and discovered that these still can't be viewed on line.
This raises a number of questions and issues:
1. Why do BT constantly ask us to registered for online billing and them not provide the service.
2. Our phone account starting EM & ending ****9576 used to be available for online viewing but this option seems to have disappeared.
3. The email states
Reduce paper waste
As you are still receiving paper bills by post why not go paper-free and stop storing and shredding them once and for all.
Why make these claims if you can't support them. This smacks of misrepresentation.
Bottom line Mr Stagg -- time for your team to get their act together with online support for OneBill Plus -- this has been a problem it appears since 2009 -- does it really take that long. Perhaps too much focus on Twitter and not enough on your core business and customers.
BTW -- can you get rid on the annoying secuirty prompts [secure/non secure] when your web site switches from https to http pages. Make all you servers https and give your cutomers an easier life.

It's not just billing which is screwed up with 'onebill'. I'm having an access problem with my broadband at the moment, and I could not report the problem on-line ... because the phone number is not registered with my account! Having now reported the fault on the phone - which took over an hour - I can't see the status. The phone number is not registered with the account!
I see that no one from BT has even bothered to reply to the original post - perhaps because they are embarrassed

A phone number is no use what so ever OUT OF HOURS!
What is needed is that access to the on-line services is restored for all the customers that have been conned into switching to 'onebill'. It should never have been released until it was ACTUALLY ready to be used, and 15 months on it is still not ready to be used! They are still trying to sort out the mess following my 'annual review' in January, and I dread to see the bill when they finally catch up, since they have not been able to tell me how much I need to pay for February and March yet ![]()
