Accessing a database

I'm trying to access a MySQL database in 'CBL Web Application Builder' and it keeps saying access denied. The error message reads:

FATAL ERROR [MySQL][ODBC 5.1 driver]Access denied for user'[username]'@'%' to database 'mysql'
