At the end of my tether

IainTraynor

I been trying to close my advanced web hosting account for the past 2 weeks as my business is no longer trading. The last time I was was on the phone for over an hour and was transferred to no fewer than 6 different departments. I was then asked to fill in a form that was emailed to me, which i did, only then to receive an email saying that i did not have a WEB WORLD ACCOUNT. I already know that, I have advanced web hosting !

I simply want to close this account down, i give my account number and would think that armed with this information it should be a simple matter for BT. Obviously not !!

I am at the end of my tether with this, how difficult can it be.

Can anyone please help me !!

Must be a headache for you this past two weeks. People should be able to give you an advice here. I don't have anything on top of my head yet since calling the Customer Service is really the best option on doing this.

I am trying to do the same. Why is BT such a joke? They offer a sub-standard service yet won'y let you cancel it!

I might just delete my direct debit.

Hi Iain,

Sorry to hear you are having these problems trying to cancel your hosting services.

Please can you send a dns enquiry form via www.dnsforms.co.uk and mark for my attention in the message body.

I will then be able to assist further.

Kind Regards,
