We had a problem last week were we lost BT Fibre broadband due to a faulty modem.
Before the modem problem we had a 37Mbps connection for over 6 months.
When the modem was replaced, on Monday, the speed had dropped to 10Mbps and I believe the engineer requested the line speed to be updated.
Later on Monday the speed went up to 23Mbps but it has stayed there since then.
When will it go back to the 37Mbps we were getting before the modem problem?

I have the same issue, and am expecting the BT engineer to visit today (if they turn up).
Mine was running at 37Mbps quite happily for a month before dropping down to 15Mbps or so, worse is the upload speed...0.2Mbps!
EDIT: Actually, sorry have just re-read your post (properly this time :)) and it's not exactly the same issue.
Mine never actually stopped working, just dropped the speed. I'm assuming it's a faulty modem, but will have to see what the engineer finds (if they turn up - since they were supposed to on Monday morning and I was called to say there was a problem with the booking system and so the appointment never got made).
