BT Upgrade

I am new to this forum and have also been adversely affected - I had no idea so many people had also experienced the issues I have had. Disaster is an understatement. I have managed to work my way through most things but have one outstanding and wonder if anyone can help.

 

One holder of an assigned email address has been given a completely new one. The rest of us have been able to hold on to our old addresses.

I went into my administrator section to see what happened. And I see that BT has assigned the new email address - no reference to me - and definitely not sanctioned by me (I noted some BT person quoted the legalities - I just want a solution, not an excuse).

Does anyone know how I can restore the original email address so that the user does not need to tell everyone about the change? An upgrade should be just that - an upgrade, not a fundamental change.
