Hello
I am trying to get a V-IP phone to work at home over the internet without success, I have open tcp5567 and udp5566 at work, the phone authenticates and works as is should, but no audio in the headset apart from local tones, at home I have other voip phones working, are there additional ports I need to open with this system?
Thanks
JohnnyD
Hi JohnnyD,
Is it a BT Falcon phone you are using and are you trying to configure a BT Business Broadband router?
Thanks

Hi Tracy
No, Its a BT Versatility V-IP phone that connects to the broadband module on the versatility system, the router is a BeBox at work where the Versatility system is.
Many Thanks

For an external router, the ports to be opened are:
UDP ports 5060-6000 for incoming and outgoing traffic and
TCP port 5566 for incoming and outgoing traffic.
There may be other reasons for your difficulties.
Let me know if you require further assistance.
