Hi Everyone
I hope someone may be able to help as I donot know much about Webhosting and everything. A SEO Monitor has picked up that something is wrong with the webhosting for my website and has Error 404 Hosting. Does this mean that something is wrong with the hosting or is something wrong with my actual website. It has disappeared alot recently and is not coming up high in the rankings. Please can someone help as dont know much about all of this stuff.
Best Wishes
Lisa

Hi, does your site pull up when you try to open it up using a browser? If no, you can probably create a ticket with BT and have them to take a look at it.
If yes, it may be an SEO issue and it's something that can be resolved by someone provider an SEO service or maybe you have one already.
Good luck.

There two mean reason for such an error to be displayed: 1)The content you are trying to reach is actually not uploaded. 2)Some SEO/SEF (Search Engine Friendly) functionality of your application is not properly set up. Thus, I will recommend you to check if the page that you try to reach exists on the hosting machine and if your application has SEF/SEO turned on. You might consider disabling it temporary.
