Hello,
My BT business broadband has gone down twice in the last week, and required a power cycel of the modem to bring it back up.
Obviously for a business broadband product, this is not a sustainable state of affairs.
One solution would be to auto power cycle the modem when pings to the internet fail, or to use a new modem with more reliable firmware. The modem is a BT2700HGV in bridge mode.
Does anyone have any ideas how best to acheive a solution (other than moving to a more reliable company) ?
Cheers,
Ben
Having the same issues, hub is constantly powering up and my connection speed is so slow
BT may claim the problem is down to noise on the line, and we are then into the realms of our building management at BT shifting the buck as to who's fault that is -but notwithstanding the modem shouldn't hang if its firmware has been written properly...
