Recently I've been trying to find an old script that I had come across one time that performs backups. I can't remember the name (obviously) and I remember that I didn't use it because it was lacking a feature or two. I'm wanting to see how it's progressed, so that I might start using it if it meets my needs now.
What I remember about it is that it's either a bash or PHP script (I think it's bash). The settings, stored within the file, were at the end (may have been moved to the top of the file by now) and while it can be used on shared hosting, it isn't or wasn't meant for shared hosting. The settings were default and could be overridden when called on (command line params). I believe it included the ability to upload the backup via FTP and file name structure, also you could decide how long to retain backups.
I tried looking on sourceforge but I'm not entirely certain I got it from there. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?
