Hi,
I've used the wizard that's provided with the business internet pack (£5 a month basic package) but want to design a new page using the tools in Microsoft publisher because I've got more control and its quicker to produce.
My question is can I simply upload the html file that is created to my domain space using FTP software or does the basic internet package not support this method of web site creation?
I just don't want to waste money buying FTP software and time only to find it wont work.
Thanks 😄

Hi Insumo,
You can most certainly use Publisher to create your site.
All you need to do is enter the your FTP details in the site settings page in Publisher and this will upload the site for you.
Just make sure to name the homepage of the site is index.html and place all files in the public folder of the webspace.
You do not need additional FTP software to do this as Publisher will upload itself.
Also, there are various free FTP client programs, such as Filezilla which you can download in a few minutes, just do a search for Filezilla.
Please let me know if I can offer any further assistance.
Thanks

Many thanks for your reply.
That's great news; and thanks for the additional tips too.
Best regards,
Insumo 🙂
