We have a BT Versatility exchange which is connected to one of our PC's with a serial connection so that we can run IPview call management software.
The IPview has never worked very well and is quite inconvenient as the PC needs to be logged in to use the software - it won't run as a service in the background
The information we need is simply the number of calls made from two seperate lines that are on the exchange so that we can divide the total bill between them in proportion to calls made
Can anyone suggest an alternative method of collecting this information?
Is there an internal log we can retrieve from the exchange which can be manipulated with excel?
