Can't connect to FTP

Hello, i've been trying to upload a website but each time i try its either can't find server or wrong login but i've checked 50 times, so either i'm being incredibly stupid or there is something i don't know.

I've logging using these settings below:

Server:  ftp.mybusiness.co.uk

Username:  mybusiness.co.uk

and of course the password.

I get "could not connect to server"  when i do the above.

I have also tried my bt email address, the site address without the www. the different ftp login versions just incase too, but i just cannot connect and it's driving me loopy.

Does anyone know what the problem may be?

Thanks

Log into your website centre and check that you have not got Frontpage Extensions enabled as this disables FTP.

Sitebuilders > Frontpage Manager

If this is installed, click the uninstall tab and remove them. This should then enable FTP again.

If you are still having problems, please post the log from your FTP client.

Your domain loads fine so the only thing I can think is something isn't configured properly. Try replacing ftp.mybusiness.com with the following IP address in your FTP program (this is this the IP of your website).

209.235.144.9

Let me know if this works.

Sorry I think I'm out of ideas, I'm sure your not but the only other thing I can think of is you are using the wrong details e.g. using the details for your free hosting space?
