Cannot view my own site after DNS name server repoint

Nefyn

My internet access is provided by BT, my domain name is registered with BT but my website and emails are hosted elsewhere with Netweaver.

Since a DNS server repoint last week I am having the following issue:

I can view every other webpage but cannot view my own at www.nefynholidays.co.uk

Other people can see my site, but I can't!

I have cleared the browser cache in my three browsers (FireFox, Opera, and Internet Explorer) and have also reset my BT Business Hub to factory settings but the problem persists. I've tried ipconfig/flushdns etc. If I switch off my PC (running Vista Business) and power down the router, I can view my site.

When I can't view my site, I cannot download my emails either.

It's very annoying because I need to be able to log into the site to access our booking system, and having to reboot the PC several times a day is not a viable option.

I have a suspicion that the problem is worse after a periood of inactivity or late at night, but I'm not a hundred percent certain on that score.

Any ideas?

Hi!

Problem solved! Netweaver have traced the fault - I was checking my POP3 email account more frequently than once per minute, resulting in temporary bans by their firewall. Once I had been banned 4 times, this then became a permanent ban. They have increased the limit for this, and I am now checking emails every two minutes.

Hi

I am really sorry no one on the forum has been able to offer any suggestions to help you with this. Have you managed to resolve this? Have you spoken to the technical team?

Kind Regards

Fiona
