Charges from my old supplier SSE charching me for a BT open reach charge !

Rather than try to explain I thought I would just put up thechat transcript I had with the BT help online.

Before we signed up online we were told that everything would be sorted out by yourselves and that we didn't need to do anything. However we have received a bill for £37.35 plus VAT for a broadband cease charge. SSE says its bt's fault.

[07:21:20 PM] Harsha Kumar: Glen normally Migration Authorisation Code is supposed to be provided by you, we will not be able to get it from the other service provider, we will take care of all the transfer details which are required. and your other servicemen provider SSE should inform you about the cancelation charges, as of which It would be SSE who should inofrm the charges about the MAC and also provide you when you ask for it

I don't work in telecommunications so would not be aware of these things unless i'm told on no correspondence from BT was I told I had to do this. I was told everything would be taken care of.
