Contact email that should have been set up on the website 4 months ago still doesn't exist!

Hi,

 

I'm not sure I should be posting this to the BT Business Support Forum but I'm not sure where else to turn.

 

I created a website with BT Websites 4 months ago in the hope of creating an online presence and possibly reaching out to more people. I was told at the time that a contact email address would be created so that customers could reach us directly and us them instead of us having to use our personal email addresses. I was also told at the time that there is a review done every quarter as standard to ensure that we get the best out of our contract with BT Websites.

 

I eventually found that the email address on the website (info@apexgarage.co.uk) still doesn't exist after 4 months of the website being live! If you're a business owner like myself, you can imagine the number of potential customers lost through making contact with a dud email address. I got in contact with the BT Websites Services Team about this on the 9th of May, 12th of May, 22nd of May and 3rd of June. Noone wants to reply to my emails or answer the 'Customer Support' number. Oh and needless to say, nobody's been in contact about a review either.

 

I feel really frustrated by this because we're a small business, we don't earn a lot of money and I expected a lot more out of a company like BT. I have had to sort the problem out temporarily myself because BT would do nothing to help fix the problem that they've created.

 

I suppose my question really is -

 

How do I get a big company like BT/BT Websites to listen to me and fix my problem i.e. create this email address that should have been done months ago?

 

OR

 

Can my 1 year contract with BT Websites be cancelled without a cancellation fee seeing as the service promised is not the service that has been provided?

 

Please help.

Hi apexgarage,

 

I have checked your email address info@  and I can see that is got created on 11/06/14, are you still having problems with this email address?

 

To see if you can move away from BT Websites, you would need to contact them direct, as they are their own support team, you can contact them on 08001 693 398.
