I'm having problems with my event emails on products I have sent to eBay, and subsequently have sold through eBay. The email event is defaulted to send a "request to finalise item".
Most customers ignore this but I am getting an increasing amount emailing me thinking their Paypal payment hasn't gone through or I am asking them to pay again.
How do I remove this as the selection is greyed out and cannot be removed?
I think this is the way it is meant to work and cannot be removed.
You need to put something in your listing telling the customer NOT to initiate the payment through eBay / Paypal and wait until they receive the invoice.
The reason for this email being sent is so that the sale can be tracked through the eShop.
Hello,
this is true. This setting can not be deleted. We are working on a better solution with eBay, but the only way ebay to get working right with the eShop is by adding some text and advises about finishing the payment in the shop and not in eBay. Only this way you would get the stock level counted down etc.
It is a little confusing, but yes, the only way to do it know. Customers should be advised at eBay and in the mails sent out.
