Domain Email problems

Yesterday I set up a BT web hosting package so I could build a new website.

 

I created an email address (myname@mydomainname.net) but can't access my email account. It appears in the manage my services page along with my usual BT email address (myname@btconnect.com)

 

I can login to my personal email but when I select the option to open another mailbox I get an error message saying I don't have permission to access this email account...

 

I'm new to all this so please excuse my ignorance but I need to get this up and running ASAP. I'd hoped that thi9ngs would be relatively straightforward but I'm out of my depth here.

 

I'd really appreciate some help!

I realise you posted this a while ago and hoping you’ve already found the answer you needed, but just in case and for other members who might have the same query.

 

If after you have created a mailbox/email address if it is not working after 20mins to an 1hrs please contact the helpdesk
