Fax Facility

Hi, I'm a newbie to voip.

Can anybody tell me if its OK to use a voip line as a fax facility?  Is there any software that I may need?

Hi Champs119,

Although fax over VoIP is possible, BT currently doesn't support this feature using Broadband Voice or BT Hosted VoIP. The key reason for this is the huge range of fax machines in the market are difficult to support and the user experience can vary greatly.

An easier solution could be to use BT PC Fax, which may fulfill your requirements.
