Fax Facility

Can anybody tell me if its OK to use a voip line as a fax facility?  Is there any software that I may need?

There is no reason why it cannot be used.    You may occasionally find that some pairs of machines which trained at high speeds (33k6) might drop down a little.   Just ensure that you select the highest possible quality on the VOIP set up.
