Forwarding calls to an external number once the call has been answered

I've tried to speak to someone at BT Business but despite requesting call backs I've not been successful. So I'm hoping BT Business's customers may be more helpful......

Our business is splitting in two and we will get many calls from former clients who will need to be directed to the other business.

Automatic call forwarding won't work because someone needs to screen the call to see which business the client needs to speak to.

Is there is a facility that would enable us to forward calls that we've picked up to the other business at an external phone number at the press of a button.

The other business will have their own telephone system and so cannot be just another extension on ours.

I hope that makes sense. I've no idea what the correct technical terms for any of the above are but I look forward to being educated.

Many thanks

Suzanne

HELLO,

I THINK THAT THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUERY, WOULD BE FOR YOU TO CHANGE BOTH PARTS OF THE BUSINESS

TO FEATURE LINES, THAT WOULD ALLOW A LOCAL LINK TO BE PUT IN PLACE.

IF YOU COULD GET TWO FEATURE PHONES OR YOU ALREADY HAVE TO INTERNAL PBX SYSTEMS, YOU WOULD THEN

HAVE TO GET AN OUTSIDE LINE, THEN JUST DIAL THE EXTENSION EG 20. AND TRANSFER YOUR CALLER TO THAT AND THE PERSON AT THE OTHER SITE COULD TAKE THE CALL.

I TRUST THIS WILL HELP.
