Hi, one of my clients called me on Tuesday because their internal network had stopped working. It turned out the problem was down to the BT Business Hub Router (a BT2700HGV), which had previously been configured with custom DHCP settings, but had somehow 'lost' them, and reverted to the factory default settings. I reconfigured it, and everything worked fine. Then yesterday, the same thing happened again. I checked the System Info page of the router, and it was dispalying a 'First use date' of Oct 14, 2010. Would I be correct in assuming that this indicates the date of the latest firmware upgrade applied to the router? And if so, is this the probable cause of the router losing its custom settings?
