Hi,
I have recently ordered a domain name and hosting with BT and have uploaded my site via FTP and got my first site working fine.
However, I now wish to host another site using the same hosting package, I understand this is possible.
I have read through a few posts about how to do this and wondered if someone could help me.
I understand I have to create a new folder int he public area of my other site, which I have done and I have uploaded all the files for the new site into this folder. I understand that I now have to direct my new domain to this area so for example my first domain is www.123.co.uk and I have uploaded the second site to www.123.co.uk/345.index and now redirected my new domain to this.
However, does this mean when people type in www.345.co.uk they will redirected to www.123.co.uk/345.index and this is what they will see in the URL bar?
Thanks in advance,
Claire x

Thanks
Yes, this is correct.
They will see www.123.co.uk/345.index in the address bar if you use URL forwarding. If you use frame forwarding it will hide this in the address bar, however you will still see it in other places like hovering over links, etc.
Ok thanks for your advice, I guess the only way to give the domain its own FTP access is to order another hosting package?
Thanks
