High Corrected Blocks on 2700HGV and SNR going crazy, problem?

We're experiencing some very bizarre issues with our Business broadband and I was wondering if anyone else has experianced this or knows what could be the issue.

We get intermittent blips throughout the day, normally resolved by rebooting the router but occasionally not. these can last from seconds to minutes. I look at the connection stats on the modem and that still says it's connected so it hasn't lost physical connection to the exchange. When we get an outage I try pinging Google, BBC, etc and get very intermittent results (about 50% returns and 50% can't find site).

The 2wire 2700 HGV is logging (according to it's stats) at the moment corrected blocks errors at the rate of about 30,000 every 10 minutes, which sounds very high to me but might be normal (I don't know enough to make judgement). Other error stats are 0 although before the last reboot and reset it was logging pretty much against everything to some degree.

Also the downstream SNR is going crazy, it fluctuates from 5db to 12db hour to hour, which might also be contributing to our issues, it just doesn't seem stable, which is what we really need at the moment.

Any ideas?

Hi

I am sorry no one on the forum has been able to offer any advice on this. Have your connection stabilized or are you still experiencing issues? If your connection is still intermittent please contact the Technical Team to run through some checks on the network.

Kind Regards
