Hosted Voip - time of day routing/diverts/distinctive ring/Fring/broadband/QOS

Hi,

I am interested in migrating to hosted voip and have a few feature questions:

1) Is there a time of day routing function such as divert calls to a different number set by a schedule, e.g. shop closes at 5:30pm daily, direct calls after 5:30 to mobile number?

2) If no handsets are logged into a voip number or power has failed can an automatic divert be activated? i.e. divert to a pstn number in event of either of these cases?

3) How many distinctive rings are supported?

4) Can you use the BT hosted voip with Fring or other Voip based software?

5) With hosted voip is there the option to get a dedicated broadband line or does it have to use your standard broadband line that is used for normal web based internet traffic etc? Is there any Quality of Service(QOS) for the voip traffic in the BT network?

Hi Kiteguy

1 - no sorry bbv and hosted voip does not have that option.

2- there are two ways to setup diverts 1st via the handsets and the other is online which yourself or us can setup for you.

3 - Priority Call allows up to ten numbers to ring with a distinctive ring tone

4 - we only support BT office communicator, other software's may work but we have not tested.

5 - It would be best to have a dedicated bb line for hosted voip but it all depends on how many lines you would be using and how heavy the data use.
