How do I buy a new license?

I went to add a new email user but this message came up.

 

You don’t appear to have enough enabled licenses to create a mailbox. If you have recently ordered a license then please wait a little while for this to be enabled and then try again.If you know that you have not purchased enough extra licenses then please buy a new license, or delete an existing mailbox, to re-use its license.

 

How do I buy a new license?

Yes I had this - it's really not at all obvious, when you get that message and try and click on buy new licence it doesnt work. 

 

I had to call and get help, very helpful chap called Ian from BT sent me this which worked a treat.  have to say though - not at all obvious!

 

  1. Log in with the account you wish to associate the account to (xxxxxxx@btconnect.com)
  2. Click the Manage services page.
  3. In the top right hand side there will be a box with “Products Purchased” heading and in there there’s a link “View full product details and upgrade options”. Click that link.
  4. This will take you to a “Products you Own” page. At the bottom of this click “Upgrade to Internet Business Pack” link.
  5. This will take you into the ordering system. Select “I want to buy a new Online business tool (without Broadband or Broadband Advanced)”
  6. This will take you further into the process, Select the Email drop down and pick whichever MO365 package you require. Select Next at the bottom of the page.
  7. You will confirm the terms and conditions and your details from this point. Follow the Next button to the end of the order.
  8. This will then populate the package onto the correct account.
