I've lost one of my static IP's

I have BT Infinity, a Business Hub 3 and 5 static IP Addresses. One of the addresses was allocated to a CCTV DVR, this failed and was replaced under maintenance. The new DVR obviously has a different MAC address and I have allocated it my last spare address. However, I can't find or re-use the original address allocated to the DVR that was replaced. It seems to me that the only way to make a static address available again is the router needs to to see the device it's currently allocated to so that you can de-select the static address.  I can't do this as the old DVR was taken away by the maintenance contractor. How can I get that address back as I'd like to re-use it for something else?

Hi ttif3120,

The IP should be release automatically from the Hub 3 as the device is no longer connected. If it is not the only option to clear the device list to release the IP, is to factory reset the Hub 3.

What you would be best doing it taking screenshots of the hubs current settings, so that after the reset you can reconfigure the hub.
