I would like to use outlook/windows dialer to make calls - how does this work?

Is there a simple way to plug he phone into the laptop and then into the router in much the same way as with an old fashioned landline and modem?

Hi DrGraham

 

No sorry the service does not function in that manner, however you can use our BT office communicator (BTOC), this is a program you download onto your computer/laptop and use this similar to Skype.

 

You can import you're contacts from your mail client and then use BTOC to make your calls.

 

To use this service you would need an active broadband voice account or a Hosted Voip account.

 

To download the software you would need to log into your selfcare voice account, with you're broadband voice details using the link below.
