Hi,
We are due to renew our business telecoms contract in the coming weeks as we move to new premises. I have been looking at BT's hosted Voip service and wondered if I could ask a question or two. If anyone could point me in the right direction for what we require I would be most grateful.
We need 6 different incoming numbers (there are 6 sub-companies in total), feeding 3-4 handsets, in central London. We need an unlimited-calls calling plan and all calling features.
I understand that under Hosted Voip, one cannot identify which incoming number is being called. We need to be able to answer the phone saying 'Company A' or Company B' etc - am I right that this facility is simply not possible in hosted voip because of the way that the MADN system works?
Is there any way around this? If we go for ordinary VOIP (ie not hosted) would this work or would be hugely expensive?
thanks
gus
Can't be done, the VoIP platform cannot show which number was called.
Sorry!
